Info::    I am a disabled person that contributes to many support groups online/Internet/Usenet/News Groups. I have some information about me on my web sites and the struggles I go through with medical problems, legal problems, insurance problems, and government agency problems.
 
There are many nasty mean horrible people that will harass, stalk, and abuse those people online that are sick/disabled and will use the information available through the online support groups and web sites to stalk the sick/disabled person around on Usenet/news Groups, and cyberstalk them, harass, abuse, lie, spread malicious rumors, attacks, and will stop at nothing in their quest to destroy the person. They will sometimes hide behind a false/anonymous identity and hide behind their idea of free speech. They may sometimes use a computer through a college/university as they know that there is not much of a chance anyone will help stop the harassment because of using a computer they do not own.
 
The law will not consider it harassment and even treat the victim as a kook unless there is actual proof that your life is/has been threatened and the law will blow of your pleas for help as a joke. If/when you contact the service provider of the ISP/Usenet service provider of the attacker the attacker will go as far as to claim that they are the victim. The attackers ISP usually does not take this abuse serious and the attacker will laugh off most attempts by the victim to have the attackers account cancelled. While most people that are flamed. attacked, abused, stalked, just move on with their lives, a person that is sick/disabled has a real bad time because in many cases they are just barely hanging on due to chronic severe pain, illness and al the devastation illness does to a person's life. They can be pushed over the edge into a breakdown if the abuse/harassment is bad enough and lasts any amount of time.
 
 I appreciate anyone that helps with this cause to help convict the abusers/harassers/attackers as most of the organizations that are setup to help people that are victims of online harassment/abuse will not even address the subject of sick/disabled person under attack, they will only setup small support groups and Internet sites and information to help the Cyberstalking abuse that does not have any section to help the sick/disabled persons under attack. While these groups are usually non-profit and are designed to help people, which I applaud, that are sick/disabled and attacked are having a 'Hate Crime' being committed against them and the law seems to laugh this off. I hope those that are in the position to bring these abuses to the front and in the spot light. Thank you for reading and caring.
