Info:: Married for nine years, but so not happy, I found myself reaching
out on the chat lines for that special someone. At that point in my life
I was vulnerable it seemed to anyone.
Being Canadian, I found other countries very fascinating and one day,
I seemed to meet the man of my dreams, he was from England.
At first I didn't like him, cause his employees played nasty jokes
on me everyday. When he came online I ripped into him saying I didn't want
to have anything to do with him. I told him jokingly if he cared anything
about me that he would call me and say he was sorry.
Off to work I went and sure enough this sweet voice with an accent
phoned and said he was sorry.
>From that day forward June 1998, we spoke. Hours and 1000's of dollars
on phone bills, we reached a point 3 months later it was time to meet.
Well, he didn't show.Wasting a weekend in a motel waiting for him and
a few hundred dollars I returned home crying but his excuse was good.
Finally I had hit rock bottom and I jumped on a plane and off to England
I went.
I spent 5 of the most beautiful days of my life.
Leaving England was the hardest thing I could do but knew it was for
the best and I knew in my heart that I would see not see him again.
